Propane Rules & Regulations

Propane is a source of safe energy, when handled properly.  The Railroad Commission of Texas has jurisdiction over the sale, handling and use of propane in the state of Texas.  They have adopted the rules set forth in NFPA 54 and NFPA 58.  These documents, in conjunction with the Commission’s LP Gas Safety Rules help keep everyone safe.

NFPA makes important safety codes and standards available for free online
